London trip canceled cos all of them r broke!
=.=
This is my hall of residence...
dont sit there... it is the smokers spot =.=

City centre is loaded with people today...
its usual for Saturday...
plenty of ppl come hanging around in the city...
look at the enormous man-made statue!
it will be burned on the 7 November...
when they are having fireworks in Headington...
gonna go take a look =)

y burn it? such a waste....
Here is a random building in oxford...
Buildings here are historical.. not much of modern building...
Many of them date back to the Gothic Revival Period...

Food....
you know what they call this? TRUNK!...
because they shape like a tree trunk when readily made...
and this TRUNK are actually tasty.... sweet... CHOCOLATES!

and some delicious looking sandwiches...

Found something interesting as I walk...
A spiritual alphabet chart..
Check out your initial on the board...
see what it means ;P

A well decorated door...
also take a look at the building language used...
the way each floors communicate...
also... appreciate the details.. =)

I went back here to capture a image of the statue with pink lips...
but its gone!!! someone must have notice it and wipe it off already... haha..

was supposed to visit the interior of Bodleian Library...
but it was closed due to graduation of Oxford University...
so i went on to the books binding exhibition.
The exhibition is wonderful... showing different kind of binding methods..
both traditional and modern ranging from different kind of materials..
the most popular types are binding with pig skin and goat skin..
The first decorating method used on cover designing is gold painting...
there is too much to tell from the exhibition.. spent almost an hour there =)
wonderful time.

Here is another decorated gate...

Happy Scholars.... XD

Then i headed to Wesley Memorial Church...
This church is built in the 1878 and was gradually refurbished...
many questions asked in the year 1978 whether should the church be demolished...
diverted.. but ended up without any solution.
So the ppl stop talking and listened instead, and the voice of God seemed to say,
"Stay where you are. Your task remains here in the City Centre"
(extracted from 'Wesley Memorial Oxford Centenary appeal')
