Its a bureau(table) design for a deaf percussionist-Evelyn Glennie...
you can google on her..she is talented and won 80 awards.
The bureau took the concept of- Sound-scape

Sound-scape as defined as a surrounding of sound from nature and man-made...
...
As my concept reads:
Sound-scape- a space for music creation with surprises and creating music more than using the instrument.



A bureau allowing Evelyn to maximize body movements...
and her sensitivity towards vibration...
in making and practising music...

Designed to style of 21st-century...
without compromising its potential in functionality.
